ABOUT MAK
Originally from Hickory, North Carolina, Mak is a Nashville recording artist who started her music journey at age 3, recording church songs on a vintage cassette player. Noticing her talent early on, her musician grandfather mentored her. With a background in piano, she later taught herself guitar and began expressing her life through songwriting.
Her influences span the ’50s–’80s, drawing inspiration from artists like Elvis Presley, Van Morrison, and Journey. Vocally, she’s often compared to Norah Jones, Stevie Nicks, and Bonnie Raitt. Offstage, Mak embraces a bohemian, peace-driven lifestyle and loves spending time on the farm with her horses, dogs, and nature.
